But, yes, today brings the ‘official’ end to my most recent Documentation Process, for which I was recording every journey I’ve made for the last month… however, I discovered last night that the book I’ve been using to present my journeys only has enough pages to cover until the end of July (plus the map legend and some other info on why I decided to embark on this). Therefore, my project has a new title – Everywhere I Go When I Leave My House, (14.07 – 31.07.2026). What will I do with the other 14 days worth of documented journeys? I’m not sure yet, but I definitely need a pause.

My FAD Final Major Project film, This London, has been selected as one of the student films able to be voted for by members of the public in Lift-Off First Time Filmmaker Sessions #8.
Voting / the festival closes on 23rd August. Each ticket buys you 4 votes to use across the competing section of the festival; again, mine is in the ‘Student Shorts’, but an extra £4.45 will get you access to the professional films also! The festival itself is on Vimeo OnDemand, so you don’t even need to break a sweat trying to leave your house if you did feel like attending. I know ticket prices are quite steep though; so no judgement if you’re more about saving those pounds for a rainy day*.
