I’m out on a research trip innPiccadilly, at Waterstones’ flagship store. My aim is to browse through various illustrated / graphic books, if I can – focusing on autobiographical/ factual books, and memoirs.
As I’m arriving though, I’m realising this may be a good place to seek out art and photography books in general. My trip to Gosh! Comics in Soho feels a little more specific, and a later down the line job perhaps, especially whilst I’m still currently deciding what format to document the ‘now’ and the ‘memories’ in. I’m still considering the use of video/ film, and may schedule in a trip to the BFI Archives tomorrow.
