Yesterday I created an anonymous survey using Google Forms. The questionnaire asks four questions relating to memories of London. I sent it to a variety of contacts on my phone and requested people fill out the questionnaire to the best of their ability, and to forward the link to anyone and everyone.
Having done a little more practical experimentation with photographs I took on locations in London yesterday evening, I’m confident that I wish to create a part-illustrated, photo album; depicting memories or experiences that took place in London.
I’m excited to gather more responses, and take pictures accordingly. I’m excited to explore more of London, and to compile a catalogue of people’s past experiences, albeit my own interpretations of them – perhaps in a more obviously comparative style with the photographs I have in mind to take.
I feel that the online questionnaire itself may not receive as many responses as I’m hoping for and so I’m considering other methods of acquiring the data I’m after. I’ve created a QR Code for the questionnaire, which I shall attach to a poster, and am hoping to then be able to distribute it on the WM College noticeboard, as well as a few places local to me. I’m also very up for having informal, in-person interviews with people when possible, and will be considering how I could (safely) go about this as a way of gathering more responses.
