After more consideration over what I will create, I am desperately trying to settle on something. I think the issue of too many ideas, and none of them being concrete enough, can be helped through more artist research. I’m now a lot keener on the idea of using poetry and finding a way to digitally accompany spoken word.

I have a different poem in mind now, called She’s, which I wrote this year during a period of reflective thought on how I was perceived in school, and later years. This train of thought came from considerations and happiness at having returned to education at a later point in my life.

The poem itself is a type of reflection on former parts of me, but not how I have been viewing myself – instead taking on the persona of ‘everyone else’ who has had something to say about me during significant phases of my life. How I choose to represent or accompany this visually I am yet to decide. I like the idea of using photography, memory, and reflections.
