I am still thinking about the project involving my housemate and the perspective she has on the house we live in, with her having been a tenant here since May 1994. This insight has always interested me, and I am often asking questions about the history of the house, its tenants, and the local area.

I was born in June 1994, and something in my brain finds it satisfying to know bits of information about where I live, dating back to just before I was born. I have asked my housemate if she would be willing to talk, and have me take some photographs of the house, and her – to which she has said yes. Although I am still unsure what I will create physically or digitally at this point, I am excited to begin gathering information about the house.

There are also some photo albums that my housemate has kept, which have photographs taken on her 30th birthday at our house, and some pictures will have former tenants in them. My idea may be to recreate old photographs with new housemates, or perhaps just with the absence of those who no longer live here.
